So we came up with three ways to save your business time on social media this Monday.
Schedule Core Content For The Week
Scheduling content is one of the easiest ways to save time and ensure that whatever the week brings that you can be confident that your message is getting out to your audience on social media.
Setting aside just 15 minutes per platform to schedule one or two core pieces of content from your marketing collateral forms a basis to build from. To do this we recommend using social media management platforms like Hootsuite to organise and track your posts.
Accountability is a key aspect of social media success, so make sure someone within your business (even if it is you) is accountable for monitoring and managing your businesses social media.
Making someone accountable, will ensure nothing is missed and that performance on social media can be measured against the inputs of your team.
Assign Specific Times To Check Social Media
Once you have assigned someone to manage your businesses social media, you should consider setting specific times that they check them. This is to ensure it happens and that this time is easily manageable and procrastination minimised.
To do this the assigned person can assigns specific time in their calendar at set points to check and post on social media as part of their default diary.
How often social media is checked and the amount of time assigned will depend on the nature of your business and how you interact with your customers and potential customers on social media.
